are Native Italian, an Italian American or a non-
Italian with an interest for the Italian language
and culture, we have a program for you.
Let’s Play in Italian started in November of 2005.
Let’s Play in Italian is an enrichment program
that teaches children and adults about the Italian
language and culture through various techniques.
Learning a second language is crucial to a young
child’s development, and has many benefits for an adult as well. We provide Mommy and Me classes. Pre-school 2 hour drop off-morning and afternoon, up to 5 days a week. We also offer after school programs for children and teens as well as private lessons for children and adults. We even do birthday parties and have an Italian bookstore!
Let’s Play in Italian has expanded from one location in Union County to multiple locations in Union, Essex, Hudson, Morris counties educating students from Scotch Plains, Hoboken, Nutley, Florham Park, Short Hills, Cranford, Madison, Mountainside, Summit, Edgewater areas. Let’s Play in Italian has been honored as one of the recipients of an educational grant by the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) as well as a 2 time grant recipient of the Italian American Committee on Education (IACE) for it’s pre-school enrichment programs. Let’s Play in Italian works closely with the Italian Consulate of Manhattan New York and New Jersey to continue to grow and promote the Italian Language and has also been featured on NJN News.
